Renate N. Caine, Ph.D. is professor emeritus in education at California State University, San Bernardino, and Executive Director of the Caine Learning Institute. She is the senior author of several books and numerous articles that translate neuroscience and cognitive science for educators. Her latest book, co-authored with three colleagues, describes the role of the executive functions in learning and provides a comprehensive model of professional development.

Louis John "Lou" Cozolino, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University, California. Dr. Cozolino holds degrees in philosophy and theology, in addition to his doctorate in clinical psychology. His current major interest is a synthesis of the biobehavioral sciences and psychotherapy.
Sam Crowell, Ed.D. is a professor of Education at the California State University, San Bernardino. He is a specialist in curriculum studies and spirituality in education. He is also the Director of the Center for Integrated Learning and Teaching.
Barbara Flores, Ph.D. is a professor of Education at the California State University, San Bernardino. She is a specialist and researcher in instructional practices related to the acquisition of literacy.
Barbara Larrivee, Ph.D. is a professor of Education at the California State University, San Bernardino in the department of language, literacy and culture. She has conducted extensive research into bilingual education and special education. She consults extensively on conflict resolution and reflective practice.
Philip Mirci Ph.D. is a family systems specialist and an experienced school site administrator and a former associate superintendent of a school district in the areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and student services. He currently is the Director of Secondary School Reform for the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools.
