The Institute generates funds in the following ways:

• We apply for grants from philanthropic and governmental organizations to pursue our research program and support our work. 
  

• We conduct professional development programs and participates in whole system reform for schools or districts on a fee-for-service basis.
  

• We conduct talks, seminars and workshops for free and on a fee-for service basis.
  

• We welcome support through gifts and donations from individuals and organizations.

Who We Are

Purposes, programs and projects for which we seek funding:

1.  School renewal:  Support for schools and districts which would like to implement our process.  This includes sites with which we are already working and new sites which would like to begin.

2.  Seeing Education in a New Way:  Funds to help us connect and work with more of those who want to  inform the public about what effective education and great teaching really look like.

3.  Our research:  Resources to assist us to more fully research the work that we do and to better disseminate the results.

4.  General operations: Funds to pay salaries, maintain our office, develop technological capacity, network with kindred spirits, attend conferences and generally do the business of the Institute.
